Ya Gotta Try Composed by Sammy Nestico. For Jazz Ensemble. Published by Kendor Music Inc. (Catalog # 2530, UPC: 822795025309)

Performed by Count Basie & His Orchestra, this classic swing excursion in bright 4 gets off to a great start with an ad lib piano solo followed by a full-group chorus. Then both tenors step into the solo spotlight and take turns on solo choruses. The drummer also gets a chance to bust loose for a few bars before taking the band out with a shout. Rhythm section parts are partially notated with chords cued.
