Larry Daehn has an amazing ability to take the simplest of songs and turn them into the most gorgeous arrangements for young bands. If you have programmed his Song for Friendsi> or Country Wildflowersi> you know what we mean. The basis of this piece comes from an 18th century Welsh love song that Daehn weaves with a contrapuntal texture that will take some work for young players, but will be truly satisfying. A lowered sixth will also present teaching opportunities for intonation. Absolutely beautiful!
