Village Variations Composed by Andrew Carter. For Organ Folio. Published by Morning Star Music Publishers. (Catalog # MSM10-976, UPC: 688670109768)

This piece was crafted when the composer was asked to write an organ composition for the re-opening of the Lewis organ at Great Wenham Church in Suffolk. The theme is an original creation based on the idea of a folksong, and the ensuing ten variations take a light-hearted look at what composers over the centuries might have played had they visited Great Wenham.
