This original from Cynthia Dobrinski is a symbolic story of persevering hope and faith. The optimistic main theme marches along energetically and depicts a person s walk through life. The theme is then altered and presented in a minor key with various techniques to picture the difficulties of life. A third section, with optional chimes, contains a new melody underneath a steady walking figure played by mallets on suspended bells. This new theme is strong yet sweet and suggests the undergirding help and comfort of friends, family, and the Almighty. The return of the joyful A section ends the piece triumphantly suitable for concert use or as the prelude or offertory in a your worship service.
