A festive mood is captured by Cynthia Dobrinski in this 3-6 octave arrangementof the Maccabeaus and Azmon tunes. A buildup of shakes in the introduction sets the tone for a strong first verse which alternates sections of ringing with quieter staccato techniques. Contrast is provided by a slower, quieter verse of "O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing" in a new key with colorful reharmonization. "The glories of my God and King" material is reiterated in the transition which gathers excitement as it prepares for the final joyful verse of "Thine Is the Glory."
