The Star-Spangled Banner Composed by Key/Smith. Arranged by Craig Courtney. For SATB. Published by Beckenhorst Press Inc. (Catalog # BP1640, UPC: 748769016404)

Craig Courtney's setting of the national anthem begins as a quiet fantasia and gradually gathers dynamics and textures ending in a mighty conclusion. This arrangement is also created to provide various options for the performers. The first half of the anthem is written for SATB choir and the remainder of the anthem is written for SSATBB choir. Alternate indications allow the choir to sing either portion by itself or combined. Mr. Courtney has also written a concert band arrangement that can be performed with or without choir. These options allow the opportunity to perform the anthem in a variety of settings and ensembles.
