The beautiful song, Shenandoah, is an early American folk song dating back to at least the early 1800's, and has been known by several different titles, including Oh, Shenandoah, and Across the Wide Missouri. The song has been widely sung for nearly two centuries, and remains one of America's enduring and most popular folk songs. This arrangement has been carefully arranged for the ability of young players but will also sound great with more experienced ensembles.
