Catalog #SMP573

The publication of this piece is dedicated to the memory of Manny Albam, the composer. Bob Curnow took the original orchestration (as recorded dby Stan Kenton's Innovations Orchestra) and scored it for tradition jazz ensemble instrumentation. This is a wonderful Latin piece, with a nifty swing section in the middle. Manny was so innovative in his writing, that the piece sounds like it was written yesterday. Manny gave this project his blessing. 5-5-5-3 (can be play with 8 brass)
