Russian Sailors' Dance Composed by Reinhold Gliere. Arranged by William H Griffin. For Handbells 4-5 Octaves. Published by Jeffers Handbell Supply, Inc. (Catalog # JHS9236, UPC: 747187923608)

This addition to the Raleigh Ringer's Series is from "The Red Poppy" by Gliere. The texture is light, open and, of course, dance-like. Rhythms are straightforward but go by at a fast clip, so counting is the key. Some chromatic passages will also present a challenge. This arrangement is playable by 4,5,6 or 7 octaves - a feat in transcribing!
