Risen Today

Four of the most beloved Easter hymns have been gathered for this unique collection of organ and piano duets. Not only is each hymn given its own special treatment, a fifth piece has been included, featuring the same four hymns in a medley setting. The medley concludes with a coda that joins all thetunes together in a quodlibet fashion. Each hymn reflects the joy that must have been felt at the first realization of Christ's triumph over death and awakens that same sense of joy within each one of us as we know once again that Christ is indeed risen today!
