John Forster s lyric, using the names of 79 countries, and the famous music ofJacques Offenbach combine to create a wonderful new choral, The Picnic of the World. This piece was performed in MENC's 2003 world's largest concert and canbe used as a wonderful opener to a multicultural-themed concert, or as a closer to bring the message of a united world.
