Penguins On Parade

Grades 1-3 Creative movement is the focus of these simple melodies, each of which highlights a particular animal and its unique, sometimes peculiar, way of moving. Students are invited to express the movements of the animals the way they imagine them, sparking creative thinking and helping them estaablish connections between music and movement. Through this singing and moving, students will also improve their sensory awareness spatial orientation, improvisation skills, and self-confidence. Useful in lessons on musical styles and for transition times, the included P/A CD extends and facilitates use. Here come the penguins (and kangaroos and lions and crocodiles and monkeys and more) on parade!
