Product Description

Pavane Composed by Gabriel Faure. Arranged by Robert Schultz. For Piano Solo. Published by Belwin Mills Publishing Corp. (Catalog # PA02296, UPC: 029156111187)

Written in F-sharp minor, this is an advanced level arrangement by Robert Schu ltz of the haunting and beautiful original composition for orchestra by Gabrie l Faure which was introduced in 1887. The rhythm is based on the slow processi onal Spanish court dance, and the music varies throughout in harmonic and melo dic texture, including contrasting touch with legato melody against staccato l eft hand broken chord pattern accompaniment. There are trills, full octave cho rd sections and wide swings in the dramatic dynamics.
