This moderate swing original is a great way to sustain the interest of an audience while teaching essential jazz skills to developing jazz players. It includes sturdy melodies and counter lines, a sax soli, an ensemble interlude,and an exciting shout chorus. Great care has been taken to ensure a full, satisfying sound when performed with as few as 9 or as many as 17 musicians. Solo sheets for all wind players, a guitar chord chart by Jim Greeson, and optional parts for flute, clarinet, horn in F, tuba and vibes are included.
