Product Description

O Polichinelo (Punch) Composed by Heitor Villa-Lobos. Arranged by Lynn Freeman Olson. For Piano Solo. Published by Alfred Publishing Co Inc. (Catalog # 885, UPC: 038081033600)

OMEA 2015, Class B: Normally in stock: play all:

This very lively little piece is an excerpt from the great South American composer's "Prole do Bebe" suite, which contains musical descriptions of a baby's dolls, including "Polichinelo" who is a traditional puppet (Punch) that is full of zany antics. This is a popular encore piece for concert performers, played sometimes so quickly as to seem almost a blur.
