O Holy Child of Bethlehem

In this beautiful ballad, Lloyd Larson combines the prayerful words from versefour of "O Little Town of Bethlehem" along with "Silent Night" and the contemporary song "Emmanuel, God with Us" to create a worshipful Christmas medley. The instrumental accompaniment enhances its rich nature, with a clarinet solo at the start based on "Of the Father's Love Begotten." The Orchestration consists of a Conductor's Score and parts for: Keyboard, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet in B-flat, Horn in F, 2 Trumpets in B-flat, 2 Trombones, Percussion, Timpany, 2 Violins, Viola, Cello and Bass.
