Product Description

Morpheus Composed by Robert W Smith. For Concert Band. Published by Belwin Mills Publishing Corp. (Catalog # BDM04057, UPC: 654979080886)

** Stanton's Staff Selection - 2004 **
Named for the Greek god of dreams, Morpheus portrays the range and intensity of dreams. Limited instrument ranges do not limit the piece. There is plenty to work on here including eighth notes, eighth note rest patterns, some basic rhythmic displacement, dynamics, counting, D.S. al Coda, tone clusters, and the concept of programmatic music. What a cool piece for first or second year students!!
