The Moldau Composed by Bedrich Smetana. Arranged by Albert Wang. For String Orchestra. Published by Ludwig Masters Publications. (Catalog # 50250071, UPC: 9781621566861)

Smetana's famous Bohemian river programmatic gem has been expertly rescored for string orchestra, with all of its tempo, meter, style and key changes pretty well intact. The upper strings carry the melodic material primarily while the lower strings shoulder the important accompaniment figures, which keeps everyone busy and the overall sound richly full. A beautiful piece in a satisfying arrangement.
