With musical humor that is both harmonic (tone clusters, bi-tonality, odd progressions, and frequent shifts in tonal center) and rhythmic (cut-time shifting into 3/2 and occasionally single bars of 3/4, 5-bar phrases, and two noisy "town band" sections) this original march will certainly catch your audience off-guard and be a joy to play. Other elements of interest include several short percussion "spacers", bass drum bombs, wood block solos, and more traditional elements such as trombone smears, a piccolo solo and a Maestoso section.
