Written in honor of newspaper magnet Charles Phelps Taft whose charitable donation toward the construction of the Shrine Temple in Cincinnati saved the day, this new edition is based on the parts actually used by the University ofMiami Band while under the direction of Henry Fillmore's friend Fred McCall. A classic along the line of His Honor, this march is more accessible to mid-level bands.
