With a text from the Hebrew prayer book, this simple and memorable melody is adelight for treble choirs! Opening in unison, it moves to a well-crafted two part texture. The middle section then features a soloist or small group and the final verse is a rich and sonorous imitative section with a beautiful descant-like obbligato. The piano accompaniment is well-crafted and supports the voices well.
