Product Description

Labyrinth Composed by Vance Zuehlsdorff. For String Orchestra. Published by Grand Mesa Music Publishers. (Catalog # GMMOR90)

The title gives you an idea of what is about to be experienced - a labyrinth being "an intricate combination of passages in which it is difficult to find one's way or reach the exit." Your students will find their way, and the end in the process of maneuvering a minor key, imaginative chord progressions, a meaure of 5/4, harmonics, off beat accents, fp and other dynamic markings and a bit of syncopation. Cellos have a wee bit of shifting, but everything is within the grasp of second and third yaer students. It's exciting and fun!
