Composed by C.H.H. Parry in 1916, this piece is based on the text from the William Blake poem And Did Those Feet in Ancient Timesi>. Formally adopted by the National Federation of Women's Institutes, it was also set for large orchestra by Sir Edward Elgar. An excellent piece for teaching 20th century music history.
