This piece can do well on its own merit, or it can be joined by two others in a unique Shakespeare suite - each piece being for a different voicing. To perform all three, divide the SATB choir. The women get their turn first with "Sigh No More, Ladies" (SBMP1028); next, the men perform "Take, O Take Those Lips Away" (SBMP1029); and finally all join in with "It Was a Lover and His Lass." Clever writing abounds for both the voices and the piano. Add a bit of staging to make the performance extra special.
