Product Description

In Paradisum Composed by Gabriel Faure. Arranged by Bob Lipton. For String Orchestra. Published by Fjh Music Company, Inc.. (Catalog # ST6310, UPC: 674398231287)

Many of us have played or sung Faure's Requiem in D Minor, but it is probably new territory for school students. This last movement from the major work is now available in an arrangement that is technically easy so it can be used to focus on intonation, tone and listening across the ensemble as well as expression.  An optional harp/keyboard part of rolling sixteenth notes can be the rhythmic glue to hold it in a groove, or leave that part out and take more liberties with the tempo.  Absolutely gorgeous, it is sure to raise goosebumps in audiences and performers alike.
