This is a most attainable and versatile setting of the familiar hymn tune GROSSER GOTT. The 2-3 octave edition may be played on handbells and/or handchimes: the 3-5 octave edition is totally compatible with the 2-3octave edition; both editions may be accompanied by the keyboard of your choice; and/or you may use an instrumental ensemble of a Brass quintet(2 Bb Trumpets, horn, Trombone, and tuba) and/or woodwind quintet (Flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon). This would be a fine number to combine your handbell choirs for a special worship service or for a festival.
