"Groovy Music" is a series of exciting software programs for elementary and middle school students. Groovy Shapes is the first of the three programs, and is designed for ages 5 to 7. It teaches the basics of sound, rhythm, pitch andcomposition using pictures and animation. The "Explore" section includes voiceover instructions to guide students through a series of progressive exercises that teach them about basic music concepts. They then put into practice what they've learned by creating their own music in the "Create" section.
