First Suite In Eb (Gr-3 Ed)

Robert Longfield has made this standard of the wind band repertoire more accessible to younger bands without compromising Holst's work. Through consulting both Holst's original manuscript and the Colin Matthews edition, Longfield has arrived at an adaptation with modern wind band instrumentation and some alteration to the upper tessituras of the instrumental parts to make them more accessible to more players. Cues are provided, particularly for oboe, bassoon, and both F-horn parts. A great introduction to this wind band cornerstone!!
