The book is divided into four main sections: Basics – covering the fretboard, barre chords and flatpicking; Rhythm – bluegrass in dropped D, bass lines, classic pop changes; Lead – Celtic jigs, melodic improvisation, soloing with arpeggios; and Exploration – capo use, Hawaiian slack key, classical etude variations; and modal harmony.
