Emmanuel God With Us Arranged by Lloyd Larson. For Cantata. Published by Hope Publishing Co. (Catalog # 8255, UPC: 763628182557)

Arranged and composed by Lloyd Larson, here is a contemporary Lessons & Carols service featuring both tradition and contemporary songs timed together with biblical readings telling the Christmas story. Some of the most popular new Christmas songs are paired together with favorite carols making this a fresh and joyous celebration of the coming of the Christ child. Some of the titles include: "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel," "Breath of Heaven," "Mary, Did You Know?," "Angels We Have Heard on High," "One Small Child," "O Little Town of Bethlehem," "Silent Night," and "Emmanuel, God with Us." Available for SAB or SATB choirs with optional solos and unison (children's) choir, these settings are very accessible and easy to learn. Performance time is just under 40 minutes, and the accompaniment can be just piano, CD track, or small orchestra. The Orchestration contains a Full Conductor's Score and parts for: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Horn in F, B-flat Trumpets 1 & 2, Trombones 1 & 2, Percussion (orch. bells, ch imes, snare drum, susp. cymbal, congas), Timpani, Violins 1 & 2, Viola, Cello, and Bass.
