“Ecstacy in Jericho” is a sonata in three movements for solo guitar inspired by the book Jericho – The South Beheld by Hubert Shuptrine and James Dickey. Each movement is preceded by a short introduction, an “Ecstacy Link.” Each link is based on the Original Sacred Harp pentatonic tune Ecstacy.
