As recorded by the University of North Texas One O'Clock Lab Band on their Lab 2000 CD, this beautiful ballad features lush voicings, a haunting melody, and solo space for trumpet (flugelhorn) and tenor sax. Graded at the medium-advanced level, Slater's scoring calls for five trumpets doubling on flugelhorn, five trombones, and optional flute doubles on both alto sax parts.
