Previous volumes of these hymn harmonizations have met with wide acceptance, and we are pleased to now offer-in tribute to a great American composer, organist and editor for the earlier volumes, Dale Wood-an additional 23 new settings in Volume 4. The accompaniments avoid extreme departures from the traditional harmonizations, and instead provide pleasing alterations which enhance the vitality of congregational song. Each setting is playable on one or two manuals, allowing the organist to play the melody on a solo register when desired. A master index of all volumes is included.
