Written for the middle school honor band in Clark County, Nevada, this celebratory piece contains strong melodies and rhythmic figures that are typical of James Swearingen's writing. Articulations and style are important - especially the staccato 8th note figures against the legato melody in the B-section. A great teaching piece that is ideal for concert or contest programming!
