Christmas Symphony: Allegro Con Brio Arranged by Jeffrey S Bishop. For String Orchestra. Published by Neil A Kjos Music Co. (Catalog # SO335C, UPC: 084027041659)

Using Haydn's Surprise Symphony as his roadmap, Jeffrey Bishop substituted Christmas Carols for the melodic content for all four movements and had them published separately as The Christmas Symphony.  Here is the Finale with Joy to the World and Ding Dong Merrily on High as the thematic material that everyone shares in Haydn's sonata-allegro form.  It would make a great way to close a Christmas/winter concert - holiday themes in a classical style.
