Central Park West Composed by John Coltrane. Arranged by John Fedchock. For Jazz Ensemble. Published by Kendor Music Inc. (Catalog # 2715, UPC: 822795027150)

As recorded by the Woody Herman Big Band on their 50th Anniversity Tour album (Concord Records CJ-302), this gorgeous adaptation of Coltrane's classic ballad stars tenor sax in the solo role. Sax and brass solis provide a gradual build into the solo section, then a full-band chorus bridges the gap between the solo and closing moments. Rhythm section parts are partially notated with chords cued. Duration 5:30.
