** Stanton’s Staff Selection - 2007 **

Undeniable happiness abounds in this new contemporary praise anthem. An ideal opener, this general use choral has easily learned syncopations and harmonies. It incorporates a statement of the Doxology to the well-known “Duke Street” melody. The mixture of traditional with contemporary equals an excellent choice for blended music programs. The clarinet part adds a haunting quality to this poignant anthem giving the choir an opportunity for highly expressive singing. The Latin words allow a director to concentrate on vowel sounds and tone production. The words of this passage are a constant reminder of God's love for us and his unbounded grace. Breathtaking!
