Boom-A-Tunes Curriculum Vol 5

This curriculum by Ellen Foncannon is the most complete that has been developed for teaching music with Boomwhackers Musical Tubes. Volume 5 introduces triplets, seventh chords and Latin rhythms. Lessons also cover mixed meter, tempo markings, major/minor/perfect intervals, accents and accidentals. Instrumental classics include Bach and Beethoven themes and the 2- and 3-part choral pieces involve the entire class in singing and playing. A repertoire of classical and original pieces reinforces new and previously taught concepts. Lesson plans, worksheets, separate lyrics, student sheets, score and instrumental CD are included. High energy games will actively involve all yourstudents with music they can really get their hands on! For grades 5-6.
