This curriculum by Ellen Foncannon is the most complete that has been developed for teaching music with Boomwhackers Musical Tubes. Volume 5 introduces triplets, seventh chords and Latin rhythms. Lessons also cover mixed meter, tempo markings, major/minor/perfect intervals, accents and accidentals. Instrumental classics include Bach and Beethoven themes and the 2- and 3-part choral pieces involve the entire class in singing and playing. A repertoire of classical and original pieces reinforces new and previously taught concepts. Lesson plans, worksheets, separate lyrics, student sheets, score and instrumental CD are included.
