Catalog #GMMOR80

Your second year players will really sound mature with this piece for their first concert in the Fall. Evoking images of Colorado's high country and the radiant fall colors of the aspen trees, it is relaxed and wonderfully melodic, with the tune floating easily between sections of the orchestra. Complete with Susan Day's unique, rolling nine measure phrases and often copied arpeggiated cello part, it also emphasizes the importance of learning scales, since they are incorporated throughout.
