As Twilight Falls

Robert Sheldon's lyrical works are staples of band literature. When he applies his talents to string writing, the results are gorgeous, as in his arrangement of A Scottish Ballade (29662 - Grade 2.5 - $45.00) from 2008. The sense of peace and tranquility of twilight on a summer's evening inspires this lovely, lyrical offering. It is an excellent teaching opportunity for phrasing and expression, developing a warm sound and good intonation as well as group dynamics and sensitivity.
