A true story of a twelve-year-old orphaned son of Scottish immigrants who must find homes for his five younger brothers and sisters on Christmas Day in 1868. The poignant melodies from Max Steiner's movie score have been made into a beautiful overture by Larry Daehn. The optional 'Auld Lang Syne' solo on the recording is sung by Ezekiel Ford, 13 (2012), of Elyria, Ohio.
