Product Description

3 Kings'march Arranged by Steve Hodges. For Concert Band. Published by Alfred Publishing Co Inc. (Catalog # 23283, UPC: 038081259000)

** Stanton's Staff Selection - 2005 **
A blend of Farandole (a.k.a. The Kings' March) and We Three Kings, this arrangement contains a syncopated, Eastern European style of playing contrasted with a legato section of elongated melody in mixed-meter (4/4-2/4). Reinforce various quarter, eighth, and sixteenth note patterns with your winds and keep the percussionists busy with parts written for bells; snare drum; bass drum; finger, crash, and suspended cymbals; triangle; and timpani (2 pitched F & C). (2:35)
