Based on a poem by Edna St. Vincent Millay, this musical setting captures the essential American cultural legacy of blues, gospel and jazz. Incorporating percussive vocal effects, the work builds to a fortissimo climax and then gradually fades away, as if a train disappearing into the distance.
This hymn set to the old tune 'O Waly, Waly' begins with an optional solo passage for men's voices with beautiful imagery in text and sound.
The poem describing the moon as "a silver lady in her tower" inspired this rich work for the more advanced high school choirs and beyond. With expressiveharmonies and dramatic dynamics, it will add a beautiful aura to your concert program.

Men's choruses will enjoy the bright joy and rhythmic precision of this 16th century madrigal by John Farmer arranged for TTBB voices.
Jubilant keyboard textures and vibrant cascading vocal lines in this contemporary festival piece will make you want to rush out and embrace the spring! A contrasting legato middle section adds an expressive touch before itreturns to the opening musical material and is propelled to a joyful conclusion.
This is a beautiful piece in melody and form, but what stands out even more is how composer Kevin Memley has used the voice to orchestrate the piece. Programmatic effects are tastefully incorporated into the musical structure of the composition.
The familiar poem by Scottish national poet Robert Burns receives exceptional treatment from noted young composer Eric Barnum. This artistic, deeply expressive setting seamlessly incorporates mixed meter, close harmonies and unusual key modulations. Of moderate difficulty, it makes an excellent festival selection. Duration: ca. 5:15.

Based on the poetry of Edgar Allen Poe, this beautiful treble choral features a melody supported by an expressive piano accompaniment. Perfect for concert and contest use.
This wonderful tune was found in a canon collection by Sol Weber called RoundsGalore! Captivating Rounds, Old and New (Astoria Press). Its title is listed as Eurythmie (Che Gusto), which could be used as a tempo marking for this delightful canon. The Latin text was added by the arranger, since the canon has no original text. To insure a dance-like quality, care should be taken to emphasize the normally stressed syllables in Latin (lau-DA-mus, glo-ri-fi-CA-mus, a-do-RA-mus, etc.).
Originally scored for mixed voices with a chamber accompaniment, this new TTBBedition includes a keyboard reduction of the instrumental parts, modern clefs,a tempo indication, a Latin pronunciation guide, and optional English words. Also available for SATB (00-5785) and 3-Part Mixed (00-5786).

The delicate nuance of the Chopin-esque accompaniment provides the perfect support to the expressive melodic phrases in this lovely work with text by theAmerican poet Nathaniel Hawthorne.
The text for this traditional Hebrew song is translated "I believe" and was sung by many Jews during the Holocaust. The words provided comfort to the victims, to the survivors and serve as a beacon of hope for the future and forhumankind. This setting may be performed with piano alone or the optional orchestration for violin, clarinet, cello and bass.
James Erb's classic eight-part (SSAATTBB) arrangement of the American folk song "Shenandoah" has taken its rightful place in our contemporary choral literature. Now James gives us a wonderful, richly scored setting for men. Seriously consider this for your men's ensemble on your next concert. It's a winner!
