Advanced Search Information

Stanton's Advanced Search can help you perform a very specific product search. The more information you enter the more accurate your search will be. Here are some things to remember when using our Advanced Search:
  • You do not have to fill in all of the boxes to perform a search.

  • Fill in only the information you are certain is correct.

  • Searches are not case sensitive. ("CAT" and "cat" are the same)

  • The "Catalog/Keyword" box can use the following information to help you find products:
    • Publisher Catalog Number
    • Publisher Name (i.e. Kjos, Hal Leonard)
    • Partial Search Terms (i.e. partial publisher name, partial catalog number)

  • If you are unsure about the spelling of a word you'd like to include in your search then simply enter the part of the word you are sure about. For example, if you couldn't remember how to spell the beginning of "Tchaikovsky" then put "kovsky" in the Composer field. Similarly a search for "Tchaiko" will return results for any word containing the text "Tchaiko". So you'd get results for both spellings of Tchaikovsky's name (Tchaikowsky or Tchaikovsky).

  • If you are not getting enough results try reducing the amount of information you are using for your search.
